Cookin’ & Bookin’ Cookbook Club February
Friends- we started a Community Cookbook Club and are SO excited to break bread with you. Come to Forks and Fetes on February 12th for our 7th Cookin & Bookin’ club meeting to connect, participate. and EAT!!
Meeting fee is $20 and includes serve ware, plates/utensils, water, a refreshing mocktail, a server, and friendly discussion in our space. Our Cookbook club is hosted on the second Wednesday of each month. Sign up for one month at a time or all of them to secure your space. We have our book selections made through next March and will share the list at our gathering.
February Monthly Selection-
For the Culture by Klancy Miller celebrates Black culinary traditions through vibrant, accessible recipes inspired by her Jamaican heritage. The cookbook offers soulful dishes that blend comfort with innovation, highlighting the cultural significance of each meal making it a perfect pick for Black History Month. For February’s Cookbook Club, it’s a great pick to explore rich flavors and the stories behind them.
Each participant is asked to create ANY 1 dish from the book and bring to the event ready to serve. We have oven and refrigerator space if needed. You do not need to double the recipe, just follow the recipe as written.
