Cookin’ & Bookin’ Cookbook Club June
Friends, we’re excited to announce our Community Cookbook Club, and we can’t wait to share an evening of great food and conversation with you!
The meeting fee is $20, which covers everything you need: serve ware, plates, utensils, water, a refreshing mocktail, a server, and plenty of time for friendly discussion in our welcoming space. Our Cookbook Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
June Monthly Selection: Moosewood Cookbook by Molly Katzen
We have copies of this book available for discounted purchase at our downtown Rochester location, Side Dish, 118 E. 4th Street, Rochester.
For nearly 50 years Moosewood cookbooks have served as the global guide to vegetable-forward eating, introducing generations to vegetarian gastronomy. With 5 million cookbooks sold, Moosewood has created a culinary movement and changed the way we think about vegetables.
The original Moosewood Cookbook was collated by the Collective owners on the tables in the dining room. Little did they know this homespun handwritten book of family recipes would revolutionize the way the world ate vegetables. Beloved by 5 million and counting. (excerpt from Moosewoodrestaurant.com)
How it works:
Each participant will prepare one dish from the monthly selected cookbook and bring it ready to serve. Please bring a copy of the recipe and let us know which book it’s from! We have oven and refrigerator space available if needed. No need to double the recipe—just follow it as written.
Wine and beer by the bottle will be available for purchase.
Cancellation Policy:
Refunds are available if you cancel at least 7 days before the event. We reserve the right to cancel due to low enrollment.
We can’t wait to enjoy a delicious evening of food, fun, and good company!
